Long time no blog... last friday I finally got the keys and stepped over the threshhold of my very own shop. Specialising in haberdashery, patchwork, tapestry, embroidery... and I dont htink I stopped smiling all day!! Felt sick the next day, what have I done thoughts flying about me, but no.. I am still a happy bunny. Forgot to take a pic showing before. But here's one just as we started moving and shaking..
and then another 11 hours later. What a day, but I owe it all to my helpers who painted, pushed, lifted, built.. ate all the chocolate biscuits, drank the champagne... what lovely people. So first step on the ladder only infinite number to go... smiling all the way.
Oh, and I thank everyone for the wonderful good wishes and cards, they have made it an even nicer experience. x
