About Me

For my 6th birthday I got a sewing machine. It was mine and I loved it but... mum's one was really big and fast. It was blue. And she had huge scissors that clunked when they cut. Lovely, crisp, loud cutting noise... and that was me hooked.

So trained at the famous Glasgow School of Art, went on to teach art for a bit. Had my lovely girls and then tiptoed back into teaching through the Patchwork window. I love it, having always, always sewn I now am living a dream where I have a shop. How brilliant is that!
